Bullets 1st .308 WIN ammunition consists of brass cases, Boxer primers, and 147-grain FMJ projectiles. This line of ammunition is 100% American-made and designed for taking down large game.
All of our .308 WIN ammunition is tested for function using an AR-10-style rifle with an 18″ barrel. Like the military, we expect our loaded rounds to have consistent firing and grouping!
Some cases may be annealed because components are sourced from various manufacturers, e.g., Lake City Army Ammunition Plant. This does not mean the cases have been previously fired. Annealing causes discoloration to the cases with the benefit of added durability.
